Your Instructor
Trained in art school in Russia in the Russian realism tradition, Zufar Bikbov chose the landscape as the way to express his feelings and share them with his audience - particularly through plein air painting. He says, "I paint nature, since it is an inexhaustible source of inspiration." In 2004, he sought new inspiration and expanded his practice from Russia to the New World. Winner of multiple plein air awards at national competitions, Zufar continues to avidly explore the American landscape and teach art live in art studios mainly on East Coast.
His works are widely present in private collections in the United States, from New England to California, in the UK, Spain, and of course in Russia. www.zufar.com
Zufar has a number of followers of his art and considers teaching art a significant point of his artistic career.
